MERRY CHRISTMAS! AND A SUGAR FREE NEW YEAR!

It’s Christmas, I have visions of sugar plums or should I say shortbreads, plum pudding with butter toffee sauce and homemade fudge…ah! the old days, when for a moment of taste bud delight I crashed and got hangry.

It’s hard to imagine not indulging over the holidays and I don’t think you need to beat yourself up over a shortbread or two. I love stuffing and mashed potatoes, so portion control is the order of the day.
Instead of 1/4 of my plate mashed potatoes and another 1/4 stuffing both covered in gravy, it’s 1/8th each with a hint of gravy, 1/4 brussel sprouts with butter and bacon and 1/2 turkey. Followed by a thin slice of sugarless chocolate almond torte!

And remember dark chocolate is actually good for you!!!
