HOW TO SUPERCHARGE YOUR dietBEATez BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE WITH POWER PACKED NUTRITION

Let’s Kick it Up!

One of the most important parts of the dietBEATez plan is the breakfast smoothie, see my previous post for the full dietBEATez smoothie recipe. Breakfast can be challenging when you’re trying to improve your health, especially with the hectic pace most of us live our lives. The smoothie can eliminate that stress and hunger, so why not make the most of it. I make up a dry mix that I store in my freezer and add a scoop to my shake each day. I make enough for 6 months. The dry ingredients are:

1 Costco size Hemp Hearts
1 Costco size Flaxseeds

1/2 cup of Lecithin
1/2 cup of Wheat Germ
1/2 cup of Bee Pollen
1/4 cup Brewers Yeast
1/4 cup of Spirulina
1/4 cup of Turmeric
1/4 cup of Cinnamon

Throw all the in ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

Store in a ziploc bag with a coffee scoop

Add one heaping coffee scoop to your smoothie each day!

Not only does the dry mix add a nutty deliciousness to the dietBEATez smoothie it intensifies your daily nutrition, which helps with hunger and cravings.

“I make up enough of this dry mix and to last 6 months and I store it in my freezer. It takes no time to add a scoop to my shake each day”

I do recommend supplements such as Omega 3 and Vit D as part of the dietBEATez plan, because they are difficult to get enough of those nutrients from our diet. Since I prefer to get my vitamins, minerials and antioxidants within thier natural source, this dry mix fits that bill. Plus having it premade and ready to use, makes nutrition resemble convenience food!

On a side note, I’ve started a small dietBEATez plan, 6 weeks to reverse, reduce and recover, group in my home and the participants are enjoying great results. I’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, remember high blood sugar is a symptom of insulin resistance, not diabetes per se. We need to reverse insulin resistance and our blood sugar will normalize as our bodies and metabolism start behaving as they should, before our sugar bowl overflowed!

I’m pretty certain, in fact I would bet money on it, that my diabetic gene, was turned on by copious amounts of Coca Cola

How much sugar is in a can of coke?
